Checks Elements is a 152 piece, generative art collection of hand-drawn monoprints and non-fungible token pairs, exploring the ever evolving relationship between consensus and truth.

Conceived and created by Jack Butcher in collaboration with legendary master printmaker Jean Robert Milant and Cirrus Editions, each unique digital piece is created by a generative algorithm that then informs its physical counterpart.

Each pair is intrinsically linked as an onchain SVG on the Ethereum blockchain, and produced as a signed, unique 30” x 42” monoprint handmade on a vintage Mailander 202 lithographic printing press authenticated with the artist’s fingerprint in golden acrylic iridescent silver.
