The forthcoming print with Simphiwe Ndzube will be the first lithograph by the artist. Inspired by the concept of "the hero" in both Xhosa mythology and Joseph Campbell's theory of The Hero's Journey, this print uses lithography and chine-colle, mimicking the materially hybrid nature characteristic of Ndzube's work to conceptually and materially portray and generate notions of rebirth.
