Cirrus is pleased to present two video projections from Jacob Dyrenforth. In Private Performance Jacob imitates the various poses of a rock guitarist, giving insight to the relationship between the producer and recipient within popular culture. In Romantic Comedy he takes the role of the actor chasing love, flowers in hand, running through the streets in a seemingly endless search for what may or may not exist. Dyrenforth recently received his MFA from Columbia University. This is his first exhibition in Los Angeles.
