For this exhibition, we will present new prints by New York based artist Joan Nelson and ceramics by German born artist Roger Herman. Joan Nelson continues her exploration of the landscape. Appropriating from Old Master paintings, she creates intimate and meditative images using the lithographic medium. Represented by Robert Miller Gallery, NY, her work is held in public collections including Museum of Modern Art, NY, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, NY and Los Angeles Museum of Art. Well known California painter Roger Herman offers a series of erotic ceramic pots. He currently resides as head of painting and drawing at UCLA art department and has recently shown these works at Ursala Krinzinger gallery in Vienna.
