l*AND*sc*APE refers to the fragmentation and resultant blurring of one of society’s most steadfast social constructs. Cirrus Gallery presents the work of eight Los Angeles artists that demonstrate the breakdown of this constructed illusion by exploring and defining new realities. These artists illuminate both physical and psychological positions in space, awkwardly humanizing each foreign location. Instead of a final destination, these artworks represent a frozen temporality along unique and continuing tangents.
