Cirrus Gallery is pleased to present No Shoes on the Carpet, a group exhibition featuring new Cirrus prints by Matthew Brannon and Jonas Wood, as well as works by David Austen, Richard Baker, Jean Milant and Ed Ruscha.
Matthew Brannon was born in 1971 in St. Maries, Idaho. He received his BA from UCLA and his MFA from Columbia University, New York. Brannon has shown at Friedrich Petzel in New York, David Kordansky Gallery in Los Angeles, and Jan Winkelman in Berlin. Additionally, he was the subject of major solo exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art at Altria, New York and the Art Gallery of York University, Toronto, Canada. Brannon was included in last year’s Whitney Biennial. The artist lives and works in New York City.
