Cirrus presents “Series” an exhibition of lithographs by five Los Angeles artists published in the early 90’s when they were making their first mark on the national and international art scene. The most analogous attribute between these artists is in their use of strong graphic imagery. Each artist assembles or manipulates different source materials including Victorian silhouettes, ancient maps, printers’ Dingbats, images of garden roses or postage stamps, in order to create compelling multi-layered lithographic images.
